2007 Region V Meeting

Tuesday February 13, 2007:
Present: Robin Kuhne, Marie thingyey, Dawn Michelson, DeLilah Rosecrans, Emily Tron, Pamela Sommer, Alice Hawley, Tim Joachim

1. Decided on Region V Meeting time period: Monday October 1st -> Registration starts at 7:30am, 1st lectures start at 9:00am. Meeting will go through to Wednesday October 3rd 1:00 pm.

2. There will be 3-4 lectures at a time ¡V possibly having 2 meetings at a time into the evening.

3. Who¡¦s on committees as of now:
„h Registration ¡V Dawn Michelson, Marie thingyey, Mary Matthews
„h Publicity ¡V Lisa Phelps, Mary Klabo
„h Exhibits/Vendors ¡V Jane Voss, Denise Scufsa
„h Program ¡V DeLilah Rosecrans
„h Social/Entertainment/Coffee ¡V Dawn Michelson, Kari Kempel, Emily Tron
„h Audio-Visual ¡V Jane Voss, Rolf?, Marie thingyey
„h Coordinate Moderators ¡V Alice Hawley
„h PACE ¡V Alice Hawley, Mary Coleman
„h Financial ¡V Sue Hollister

4. Publicity ¡V We should get the word out about us/our meeting more ¡V i.e. ¡V newspapers, websites (SD & MN ASCLS sites), local magazines (FM Women)
Possibly opening it up for one day to the public for a fee? Offer health risk assessments? Massages?
Inviting distinguished members of the community for greater media coverage? Show the outside world what we do and how important it is?

5. Discussed program ideas, DeLilah has started a list which have I attached. If anyone has any ideas for speakers on any of the topics let us know! E-mail her with any other ideas you have, too.

6. NEXT MEETING! Tuesday March 13, 2007 @ 7:00pm. Ramada, Fargo. Will send out e-mail with room info later.
