A Man Who Said No « Result #1 on Mar 12, 2009, 12:35am »
A friend of mine noticed a man staggering about in the Times Square subway station. A well-dressed Wall Street type, his coat was unbuttoned, a briefcase dangled from his hand and he'd obviously had one too many.
¡¡¡¡Asked if he was all right, the man gave a slurred but affirmative response. However, my friend simply could not see someone brave the rough maw of a New York subway without trying to help. He followed the chap, and again asked, "Are you sure you're all right? What subway are you looking for? Do you need help getting home?"
¡¡¡¡At last, the object of his attentions snarled, in a low voice, "Leave me alone! I'm an undercover cop!"
Losing Virginity « Result #2 on Mar 12, 2009, 12:32am »
Concerned about her relationship, a woman approaches her doctor and says, "Doc, I'm getting married this weekend and my fiance thinks I'm a virgin & I'm not! Is there anything you can do to help me?"
The doctor says, "Medically, no, but here's something you can try. On the wedding night, when you're getting ready for bed, take an elastic band and slide it to your upper thigh. When your husband puts it in, snap the elastic band and tell him it's your virginity snapping."
The woman loves this idea and knows her hubby will fall for this. They have a beautiful wedding and retire to the honeymoon suite. The wife gets ready for bed in the bathroom, slips the elastic band up her leg, finishes preparing and climbs into bed with her man.
Things begin to progress - her hubby "slips it in" and just then she snaps the elastic band. The hubby asks, "What the heck was that?"
The wife explains, "Oh nothing honey, that was just my virginity snapping."
The husband cries out, "Well snap it again, it's got my balls!"
Colorful Shades of Gray « Result #3 on Feb 24, 2009, 12:08am »
Moths are very ugly creatures. At least that is what I always thought until a reliable source told me otherwise. When I was about five or six years old, my brother Joseph and I stayed overnight at our Aunt Linda¡¯s house, wow power leveling our favorite relative. She spoke to us like adults, and she always had the best stories.
Joseph was only four years old, and still afraid of the dark, so Aunt Linda left the door open and the hall light on when she tucked us in to bed. Joe couldn¡¯t sleep, so he just lay there staring at the ceiling. Just as I dozed off to sleep, he woke me up and asked, ¡°Jennie, what are those ugly things near the light?¡±(I had always liked that he asked me questions because wow gold I was older and supposed to know the answers. I didn¡¯t always know the answers, of course, but I could always pretend I did.) He was pointing to the moths fluttering around the hall light. ¡°They¡¯re just moths, go to sleep,¡± I told him.
He wasn¡¯t content with that answer, wow power leveling or the moths near his night light, so the next time my Aunt walked by the door he asked her to make the ugly moths go away. When she asked why, he said simply, ¡°Because they¡¯re ugly and scary, and I don¡¯t like them! ¡±She just laughed, rubbed his head, and said, ¡°Joe just because something is ugly outside doesn¡¯t mean it¡¯s not beautiful inside. Do you know why moths are brown?¡± Joe just shook his head.
¡°Moths are the most beautiful animals in the animal kingdom. At one time they were more colorful than the butterflies. They have always been helpful, kind, and generous creatures. One day the angels up in heaven were crying. They were sad because it was cloudy and they couldn¡¯t look down upon the people on earth. Their tears fell down to the earth as rain. The sweet little moths hated to see everyone so sad. They decided to make a rainbow.wow power leveling The moths figured that if they asked their cousins, the butterflies, to help, they could all give up just a little bit of their colors and they could make a beautiful rainbow.
One of the littlest moths flew to ask the queen of the butterflies for help. The butterflies were too vain and selfish to give up any of their colors for neither the people nor the angels. So, the moths decided to try to make the rainbow themselves. They beat their wings very hard and the powder on them formed little clouds that the winds smoothed over like glass. Unfortunately, the rainbow wasn¡¯t big enough so the moths kept giving a little more and a little more until the rainbow stretched all the way across the sky. They had given away all their color except brown, which didn¡¯t fit into their beautiful rainbow.
Now the once colorful moths were plain and brown. The angels up in heaven saw the rainbow, and became joyous.wow gold They smiled and the warmth of their smiles shown down on the earth as sunshine. The
warm sunshine made the people on earth happy and they smiled, too. Now every time it rains the baby moths, who still have their colors, spread them across the sky to make more rainbows.¡±
My brother sank off to sleep with that story and hasn¡¯t feared moths since. The story my aunt told us had been gathering dust in the back corners of my brain for years, wow gold but recently came back to me.
I have a friend named Abigail who always wears gray clothes. She is also one of the most kind and generous people I¡¯ve ever met. When people ask her why she doesn¡¯t wear more colors she just smiles, that smile, and says, ¡°Gray is my color.¡± She knows herself and she doesn¡¯t compromise that to appease other people. Some may see her as plain like a moth, but I know that underneath the gray, Abigail is every color of the rainbow.
Alert for all Travellers : Abuse of Human Rights : « Result #4 on Dec 13, 2007, 12:47am »
Alert for all travellers to North America: Abuse of Human Rights and Privacy Violations:
Racially intolerant white canadian cops and security and their henchmen claim to be
despots; following parasitically in the footsteps of their american counterparts, and
wilfully engage in their racial profiling of non-whites, in racial harassment of non-whites, and in racially dehumanizing attempts to racially harass non-whites through
intimidating physically, mentally, and spiritually; portraying their racial hatred of
non-whites through causing wilfull and dehumanizing disturbance to non-whites through using
illegal wall-see-through technologies and audio-bugs on non-whites' homes; through
listening and watching through the walls of non-whites' rented and owned homes, through
their internet and private telephones, and through using tempest technology to latch on as
parasites onto others' computers' hard-drives as well amounting to illegal plagiarism and
privacy violations. The perpetuators of these evil deeds do this from their cars using
illegal equipment slyly given to them by the unworthy cops, and then accelerating their
cars loudly and intimidatingly near non-whites' homes and driving intimidatingly in
presence of non-whites on streets, making threatening u-turns, driving intimidatingly right
up and over sidewalks when a non-white is on the sidewalk, and throwing their ugly bullying weight around, in their shameless acts of cowardice. It is all done slyly, supposedly
smartly, either loudly or silently; however, they cannot fool all the people all the time.
The cops also participate themselves to wail their sirens abusively everytime non-whites
move and talk inside their rented and owned homes in daily routine living, in addition to having their henchmen and henchwomen, and often, using their non-white gutless henchmen and
henchwomen in cars, transport, shopping centers, neighborhoods, etc, to commit these ugly
harassing racially profiling deeds at all times day and night. Using non-whites to engage
in racial harassment of other non-whites is an obnoxiously evil sinister humanely
disgraceful intelligent move of the whites well-known for their ugly divide and rule
tactics through their non-white henchmen and henchwomen.
It's a shameful disgrace when the so called protectors of law turn into abusers of law
themselves and throw the weight of their uniforms and law around as cowards. So, they and
their henchmen and henchwomen, appear to be very law respecting on the outside; however,
they network cowardly to commit sly acts of provocation to non-whites all the time, which
is supposed to be legally acceptable. Is watching through walls of non-whites homes,
bugging their homes, working in networking syndicates against them, committing human rights
and privacy violations against them, supposedly lawful for the whites? Who makes those laws
that favor only the whites? The law itself has racism in its clauses. The ugly inner dirt
of the perpetuators of these evil deeds of racism do not deserve to step into religious institutions for their ugly deeds - such as, if you ain't white, you ain't right? Oh!
lawns, sweet polite talkers on the outside, full of ugly stench in their souls, that is the
cause of these racist policies that are outrightly biased against non-whites. What a shame!
Most of these ugly acts of dehumanizing racial profiling depict the cowardice of the doers
of these deeds in the real sense, and are done at the behind the scenes insistence of the
racially intolerant white cops through their frontline stooges. However, without physical
evidence, the white cops, security, societies, and their henchmen and henchwomen are
laughing sinisterly at their heinous deeds and the legal system seems to support this evil through its inability to take action without physical evidence. Their racial profiling
penetrates public transport systems, shops and stores to do all they can to make the
non-whites feel unwelcome in their dehumanizing acts of racial profiling against non-whites
and those who don't conform to their nonsense. The white cops, security, and white
communities use their henchmen and henchwomen who do just as they are told and from behind the safety cushion of their oil-guzzling, pollution creating, often dark-glassed vehicles
to intimidate and harass non-whites in obnoxious racial profiling that reflects the
immoral, despotic, and cowardly behaviour of racially intolerant white cops, security, communities and their dumb henchmen and henchwomen who do just as they are told, fuelled as
they are in their racial frenzy, thanks to the racially manipulative corporate controlled
media.
Volunteers are welcome to circulate this information to all they know to put an end to this
abuse and violations of human rights committed by immorally misbehaved white cops,
security, white communities, public transports, shops, stores, etc, and their dumb henchmen
and henchwomen who do just as they are told in their racial frenzy.
Save this information on your computers before any cowards remove it from the websites.
Racism is immoral and dehumanizing behaviour that reflects the "incapable to perform
humanely" quality of those who are racist and are being watched from God's court above in ways they cannot be expected to be capable to perceive yet.
It's a shame when obnoxious stench of racism comes from people in so called rich countries.
It's even more of a shame when words are twisted by media to influence young minds with
lies. It's even more of a shame when so called authorities perpetuate racism and behave
racistly and enforce racist policies and behaviour through intimidating means amidst outer
sweet and polite talks. Racism seems to be prominent among so called white people in rich
countries who cannot bear non-whites from other countries of origin. Planet Earth belongs
to people of Earth. Highly educated people of high intellectual calibres, rich bosses and
CEOs, etc, of rich countries are a blotch on humanity and their material levels when they haven't yet evolved to basic human concepts of all humans have red blood irrespective of
race.
Racism stems from social attitudes that are perpetuated by racist societies, the media, the
authoritarians, and the peers. It's time to say, shame on all those who perpetuate racism and racist attitudes. It's time the white racist colonialists go back to where they came

Specimen Labeling/Rejection of Specimen « Result #6 on Apr 26, 2007, 9:53am »
We are currently revising the specimen labeling and specimen rejection policies for our lab. Would anyone mind sharing the labeling requirements for the lab you work in? We are particularly interested in the following:
1. Are non-lab personnel required to label a specimen (a body fluid or culture sample) according to the same guidelines as someone from the lab collecting a blood specimen?
2. Is your protocol for labeling specimens for pre-transfusion testing different from specimens used in other areas of the lab?
3. On what basis do you reject a specimen? Do you ever allow the labeling error to be corrected and then proceed to test the specimen?
4. Which accrediting agency standards does your lab follow when making decisions for specimen labeling or rejection?

Lab Week - it's right around the corner « Result #8 on Mar 30, 2007, 1:45pm »
If your lab goes all out in celebrating, you might was to check out the University of Alberta online for ideas. (www.medlabweek.homestead.com/index.html.) Last year our lab had daily contests open to all clinic/hospital staff that included the usual crosswords/word scrambles/word searches, and also "What Is This" with pics of lab related items (like beakers, flasks, agar plate, microbes, etc); and "Do you know your lab staff?" with baby pics of the techs(all done in B&W copy). Both got great responses. This year we plan to have a Soduko (using a lab word) since that seems to be the rage now. Several of our nurses are patiently waiting it! And if we can get it organized, we plan to have a 'Nintendo wii' game set up for competition (there is a 'trauma' game we hope to use). If anyone has any new or unique ideas, please considering sharing them. Thanks, Lori
